Privacy Policy

Overview

StronkBar is a privacy-first strength training log. Your workout data is stored locally on your device with iCloud synchronization for cross-device backup. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Data Collection

The app stores the following information that you provide:

• Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, and weights you log.
• User preferences — your settings and customizations.

All of this information resides locally on your device or in your private iCloud account. It is never sent to us or any third party.

Health Information

With your explicit permission, StronkBar can read your body weight from Apple Health to track bodyweight for exercises. The app does not write data to Apple Health. Access can be revoked at any time through your device's Settings > Privacy > Health.

Storage & Synchronization

• Local storage uses Apple's SwiftData framework on your device.
• iCloud sync automatically backs up your data across your devices.
• Synchronization occurs through your private iCloud account — StronkBar never sees or processes this data.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

StronkBar collects anonymous usage data to understand which features are most valuable and to prioritize development. This data is processed by TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics provider.

Examples of what is collected:

• Which features you use (e.g. import, training blocks)
• Onboarding choices (training style, rest timer mode)
• Workout completion counts

What is never collected:

• Your name, email, or Apple ID
• Workout content (exercises, weights, reps)
• Any data that could identify you

No advertising identifiers are used. You can opt out at any time in the app under Settings > Privacy.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not share data with third parties.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use advertising or tracking.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device and your private iCloud account, you have full control at all times. You can delete all your data by removing the app from your device.
